Alex Kershaw is a popular public speaker, journalist and the New York Times best-selling author of twelve books. He has been a journalist for over thirty years and is a graduate of University College, Oxford. He lives in Washington DC where he works as Resident Historian for Friends of the National WWII Memorial. He leads bespoke history tours in Europe and the US. His 2012 book, The Liberator, is now a drama series on Netflix.
